# Blank demo & uploads

Already have screenshots, mockups or a screen recording? Build a demo from them.

## Create a blank demo

1. Open the LiveDemo extension.
2. Set **Type** to **Blank Demo** and click **Create blank**.
3. An empty demo opens in the editor.

## Upload screens

In the editor toolbar, click **Upload** and pick a file:

| Format | Becomes |
| --- | --- |
| `.png`, `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.gif` | A screenshot screen |
| `.mp4` | A [video screen](https://livedemo.ai/docs/edit-a-livedemo/video-screens/) |

Files can be up to 25 MB. Each upload adds a new screen at the end. Drag it to reorder.

Then add [steps](https://livedemo.ai/docs/edit-a-livedemo/steps/) to guide viewers.

## Add screens from the library

Click **Show Library** to reuse screenshots, videos and HTML pages captured anywhere in your workspace. Tabs: **Images**, **Videos**, **Pages**. Click one to add it as a screen.

## Add screens with the extension

To add a screen to a demo you already have:

1. Open the LiveDemo extension and click **Dashboard**.
2. Open the demo.
3. Use **Capture screenshot**, **Capture video** or **Capture page** (HTML). For video, check **Animated cursor** to show the mouse.

## From Figma

Use the [Figma plugin](https://livedemo.ai/docs/getting-started/install-figma-plugin/) to turn frames into a demo.
