# Video screens

Video screens come from [Screenshots + Video](https://livedemo.ai/docs/capture-a-livedemo/screenshots-and-video/) recordings or `.mp4` [uploads](https://livedemo.ai/docs/capture-a-livedemo/blank-demo-and-uploads/). Select one to see its timeline under the preview.

## Speed

Click the speed chip (`1x`) on the timeline to cycle through **0.5x**, **1x**, **1.5x**, **2x**, **2.5x** and **3x**. Use 1.5x–2x for slow page loads.

## Zoom

Click the zoom button on the timeline to add a zoom range, then drag its edges to set when it starts and ends. See [Zoom](https://livedemo.ai/docs/edit-a-livedemo/zoom/).

## Frame to Screen

Pause on a frame and click **Frame to Screen** in the toolbar. That frame becomes a new screenshot screen, where you can add hotspots and popups.

## Steps on video

Add a transition with **+** in the screen's **Transitions** menu to let viewers click on to the next screen.

## Not available

Trimming and splitting videos aren't supported in the editor. Trim the file before uploading, or use **Frame to Screen** to keep only the moments you need.
