# Copy & delete demos

## Copy a demo

On the **Demos** page, open a card's **More options** menu and click **Copy**. The button shows **Copying…**, then the copy appears in the same workspace.

Use copies to:

- Make a version per audience, such as admins vs end users.
- Translate a demo: copy it, then rewrite the text or run [AI Text](https://livedemo.ai/docs/edit-a-livedemo/ai-text/).
- Try a big edit without touching the published demo.
- Make account-specific sales demos with edited logos and numbers ([Edit page content](https://livedemo.ai/docs/edit-a-livedemo/edit-html-content/)).

For small changes per prospect, such as a name, use [variables](https://livedemo.ai/docs/edit-a-livedemo/variables/) and [custom links](https://livedemo.ai/docs/share/custom-links/) instead of copies. One demo is easier to keep up to date.

Copies are made in the same workspace. To move a demo to another workspace, email [support@livedemo.ai](mailto:support@livedemo.ai).

## Delete a demo

Open **More options**, click **Delete**, then **Confirm**.

Deleting can't be undone. Public links and embeds of that demo stop working. Remove the embed from your website first.
