# How Does SurveyMonkey Prevent Multiple Responses

> To prevent multiple responses in SurveyMonkey, log in and open your survey, select the desired collector under the Summary tab, and open the response settings. Then, turn the Multiple responses option off to restrict respondents to a single submission.

## Steps

1. Log in to SurveyMonkey and open your desired survey.
2. Go to your 'Summary' tab and under 'Collectors' select the collector that you want to configure.
3. Scroll down to the response settings section within the collector settings. Click the drop-down arrow.
4. Look for the option that says 'Multiple responses'. Turn this option OFF to allow respondents to submit one response.
5. Once you disable it, respondents will not be able to submit multiple entries for the survey.
