# Salesforce - how to access developer console in salesforce

## Steps

1. Click the Gear icon on the top right and select Developer Console.
2. A pop-up window will open. This is the Developer console.
3. Go to File> New. Choose between Visualforce Page, Component, Lightning Application, Event, etc.
