# Salesforce - How to activate trigger in Salesforce

> To activate trigger in Salesforce, navigate to Setup and search for Apex Triggers in the Quick Find. Locate your inactive trigger, click Edit, select the is active checkbox, and finally save your changes.

## Steps

1. Go to Setup on the top right.
2. Search for Apex Triggers in the Quick Find.
3. Check the Status of your triggers and look for your Inactive trigger.
4. Hit Edit on the trigger.
5. Check the "is active" checkbox.
6. Finally, hit Save.
