# How to Add a Button in Mailchimp

> To add a button in Mailchimp, click Create on your dashboard and select Design Email for a Regular email. Under the Content section, click Design Email again. Drag and drop the Button option from the Content tab to your preferred email canvas location, then customize its shape, text, and color.

## Steps

1. On your dashboard, click on Create in the left column.
2. Click on Design Email to create a Regular email.
3. Under the Content section, click on Design Email .
4. Under the Content tab in the left column, click the Button option and drag+drop it to the preferred location on the email canvas.
5. You can now customize the Button and edit its shape, text, color, etc.
