How to Add a Pause in Descript

Open your Descript project.
Make sure you're on the timeline where your audio or video is located.
Right-click on the part of the timeline where you want to add the pause.
Select "Add gap clip". This will insert a brief silence/ gap at that location.
You can adjust the duration of the silence by dragging the edges of the silent clip on the timeline.
