# Salesforce - How to Add a Product in Salesforce

> To add a product in Salesforce, go to the App Launcher, search for Products, and click New. Enter the product name, select an optional Product Family, ensure the Active checkbox is turned ON, and click Save to successfully create the new product.

## Steps

1. Go to the App Launcher and search for Products .
2. Click the New button.
3. Enter a Name for your product.
4. You can also choose a Product Family to group similar products.
5. Make sure the Active checkbox is turned ON.
6. Hit Save .
7. You will get a success message when a new Product is created.
