# Google Analytics - Add Account

> To add an account in Google Analytics, navigate to Admin and create a new account. Enter the account and property names, time zone, and currency, then click Next. Select communication preferences, business details, reporting goals, and data collection platform, then accept the terms to finish.

## Steps

1. Navigate to Admin>Create.
2. Select Account.
3. Give an Account name.
4. Give a Property name e.g. "New Property 1 ". And also update the Reporting time zone and Currency.
5. Hit Next.
6. Select the check boxes if you want to receive product communications. And click Next.
7. Select the Business size and Industry. And hit Next.
8. Select Get baseline reports for now and hit Create.
9. Select the Platform you want to collect the data for. Lets stick to Web for now.
10. And finally, check the box and click on Accept.
