# How to Add Charts to Notebooks in Amplitude

> To add charts in Amplitude, hover over the Notebook Editor area and click the Add Arrow icon, then select Existing Chart or Create New Chart. Next, browse for the desired chart and tap Add Item next to it to instantly include the selected chart in your notebook.

## Steps

1. Inside Amplitude's Notebook Editor, hover your mouse cursor over the area where you prefer to add the chart and then click the 'Add Arrow' icon.
2. Select 'Existing Chart' from the list of options. Meanwhile, click 'Create New Chart' if you haven't created one yet.
3. After that, browse the list and find the specific chart you want to add. Tap the 'Add Item' button next to it.
4. After completing these steps, the selected chart will be added instantly to your Amplitude notebook.
