# How to add a comment in jira

## Steps

1. Open the Jira ticket, where you want to add comments.
2. Click on the comments field to start adding your comments.
3. You can format your comment and @mention someone here too.
4. Use the format bar above to format your comment. you can also attach images and link issues here.
5. Hit Save .
6. You will be able to see your comment in the Activity section.
