# How to Add Contacts to a List in ActiveCampaign

> To add contacts to a list in ActiveCampaign, click Contacts on the left menu, select Lists, and choose your target list. Click Add a contact, enter the contact and account details, select an account owner and job title, choose Add to Lists under Contact Actions, select the list, and click Apply.

## Steps

1. Click 'Contacts' on the left menu to navigate to the Contact Overview page.
2. On the contact's menu, select 'Lists'.
3. Select the list you want to add a contact to.
4. Click 'Add a contact'.
5. Type the first and last name, email, and phone number.
6. Select an account.
7. You can also add an account by entering the account name and click the 'Add' option to proceed.
8. Select an account owner.
9. Type the job title of your contact.
10. In 'Contact Actions', choose the 'Add to Lists' options and select the list.
11. Click 'Apply' to confirm.
