# How to Add Epic to Jira Board

> To add an epic in Jira, navigate to your board, click View Settings to locate the Epics Panel, and click the Epic button on the left if the panel is not visible. Your newly created epic will automatically appear there.

## Steps

1. Navigate to the 'Board' where you want the epic to appear.
2. Click 'View Settings' to locate the 'Epics Panel' on the left side of the screen.
3. If the Epics Panel is not visible, click on the 'Epic' button on the left to display it.
4. Your newly created epic should automatically appear in the Epics Panel.
