# How to Add Keywords in SEMrush

> To add keywords in Semrush, open the Keyword Magic Tool from the left sidebar, enter your keyword, and click Search. Next, select the checkbox next to the desired keyword and click the blue Add to keyword list button, or click the plus sign to send it to your Keyword Strategy Builder list.

## Steps

1. Click on "Keyword Magic Tool" in the left sidebar of your SEMrush page.
2. Enter the keyword you want to use and click "Search."
3. Click on the checkbox next to the individual keyword.
4. Select the blue "Add to keyword list" button.
5. Alternatively, you can click on the + sign next to each keyword and send the selected keyword to your Keyword Strategy Builder list.
