# Hubspot - Add lead status

> To add lead statuses in HubSpot, navigate to the Gear icon and select Properties. Search for Lead Status and click Edit. Turn on checkboxes to manage existing labels, click Add option to create new ones like Not Interested, and save your options.

## Steps

1. Navigate to Gear icon.
2. And select Properties from the left pane.
3. Search for "Lead Status" in the search bar.
4. Click on the Edit button.
5. Turn on the Check boxes . You can edit existing labels (e.g., "New" to "Uncontacted")
6. Click + Add option to create new lead statuses.
7. E.g., "Not Interested"
8. Click Save to finalize your lead status options.
