# How to Add Section Titles in SurveyMonkey

## Steps

1. Navigate to your desired survey and click the ellipsis icon.
2. Select 'Edit survey' from the drop-down menu.
3. In the 'Design Survey' section, click on the 'Build' menu.
4. Scroll down and look for the 'Text' option, it allows you to add a non-question text block, which is perfect for adding section titles. Click 'Add'.
5. In the 'Text' field, type the title or heading of your section.
6. You can also add a description under the title if you want to give respondents more context about what will be covered in that section.
7. If you want to emphasize the section title, you can use the available text formatting options such as bold, italics and underlined or change the text color to make it stand out.
8. Click 'SAVE'.
9. After adding the title, you can drag and drop it to the right location in your survey to serve as a divider between sections.
