# How to add someone to a slack conversation

> To add someone to a Slack conversation, click the person's name in the header, select 'Add people to this conversation', type their name, choose whether to show conversation history, and click 'Done' to complete the addition.

## Steps

1. Click on the name of the person from the header
2. Go to 'Add people to this conversation'
3. Type the person's name you want to add
4. You can choose whether you want to show the conversation history or not and Click 'Done'
5. All the people will be added to the DM
