# How to Archive Jira Tickets

> To archive Jira tickets in Jira, go to Project, select your project, and click the ellipsis icon. Next, select Archive and click Archive again to confirm the action, which archives both the project and its tickets.

## Steps

1. Go to 'Project' and select the project you want to archive.
2. Click the ellipsis icon and select 'Archive'.
3. Click 'Archive' to confirm.
4. After archiving a project, it won't appear in the main project listing but will still be accessible through advanced search or by admins.
5. By archiving the project the tickets will also become archived.
