# Salesforce - How to Back Up Salesforce

> To back up Salesforce, go to Setup, search for Data Export in the Quick Find bar, and select the data to export. Hit Start Export, choose between a One-time Export or Schedule Export, and wait for the email notification confirming that the export is complete.

## Steps

1. Go to Setup.
2. Search for “Data Export” in the Quick Find bar in the left column.
3. Select the Data you want to export.
4. Hit Start Export.
5. You can do a One-time Export to backup once or Schedule Export for recurring backup needs
6. You'll receive an email notification when the export is complete.
