# How to change workflow in jira

> To change a workflow in Jira, navigate to Project settings, access Workflow schemes, edit the workflow, add an existing replacement workflow, select issue types, finish, publish, and associate the published workflow.

## Steps

1. Go to Project settings in the left sidebar.
2. Find Workflows in the left sidebar and then click on Edit workflow .
3. To change the Workflow, you need to go to Workflow schemes .
4. Click on Workflows schemes on the left sidebar.
5. And click Edit on the workflow.
6. Click on Add workflows and hit Add Existing .
7. Select the workflow you want to replace it with and hit Next .
8. Select all Issue types you want in your workflow and hit Finish .
9. Finally, hit Publish .
10. You will need to Associate your published workflow.
11. Success prompt.
