# How to Change Fiverr Username

> To update your identity on Fiverr, go to profile settings, select profile, and click settings. Next, scroll to account deactivation, select the reason that you want to change your username, and click deactivate account since direct username changes are not allowed.

## Steps

1. Go to your profile settings by clicking your profile icon.
2. Select 'Profile'.
3. Unfortunately, Fiverr does not allow users to change their username after the account has been created. Click on the 'Settings' option from the drop-down menu.
4. Scroll down to the “Account Deactivation” section and select the reason 'I want to change my username'.
5. Click 'Deactivate Account'.
