# How to Change Language in Descript

> To update your project language in Descript, open the Scene tab, select Captions, and click Translate captions. Choose your desired language from the dropdown menu, toggle Dub speech if needed, and click Submit.

## Steps

1. Open your project and go to the Scene tab on the right-hand side of the window.
2. Look for Captions and click on it.
3. Scroll down and click Translate captions.
4. Next to the Translate to option, choose your desired language from the dropdown menu.
5. Toggle the Dub speech if needed.
6. Click Submit to change the languange in Descript.
