# How to Change Language in Microsoft Excel

> To change the display language in Excel, select Options, click Language, and choose Add a Language. Select your desired language, click Add, and then click OK to save your changes before restarting the application for them to take effect.

## Steps

1. Select Options at the bottom of the list to open the Excel Options window.
2. In the Excel Options window, click on Language from the left sidebar, then select Add a Language.
3. Select the language and click Add.
4. After making changes, click OK and restart Excel for the changes to take effect.
