# How to Change Legend Text in Power BI

> To change legend text in Power BI, go to the Data pane, click the three-dot menu next to the table, and select Expand all. Next, click the three-dot menu by your desired field, choose Rename, and enter your custom legend label to update the name across your report.

## Steps

1. Go to the 'Data' pane.
