# HubSpot - Change Marketing Contact Status

> To change your marketing contact status in HubSpot, first navigate to Contacts and click Create contact. Next, enter the contact information into the side panel. Finally, check the box and hit Create to complete the process and set your new contact as a marketing contact.

## Steps

1. Go to Contacts > Contacts
2. Click on Create contact
3. Enter the contact information in the side panel.
4. Check the box and hit Create
5. And you are done! Your new contact is now set as marketing contact.
