# How to change notion to light mode

> To switch to light mode in Notion, navigate to Settings & members in the left sidebar, open My settings under Account, click the Appearance theme drop-down menu, and select the Light theme option.

## Steps

1. Go to the Settings & members option in the left sidebar menu.
2. Within the new pop-up menu, under Account, go to My settings .
3. Under Appearance , click on the theme drop down menu.
4. Select the Light theme.
5. Your Appearance has been set to Light.
