# How to Change the Domain Name on WordPress

> To update your web address in WordPress, hover over Upgrades and click Domains, select Domain Actions, and choose Change Site Address. Next, enter your new domain, click Next, and agree to the terms. Finally, click Change Site Address to apply the changes and activate your new domain.

## Steps

1. On the left sidebar, hover your mouse cursor over the 'Upgrades' section and click 'Domains'.
2. After that, tap the 'Domain Actions' button next to your existing site address.
3. Click 'Change Site Address' to proceed.
4. Enter the new domain name into the provided input field.
5. Once done, click 'Next'.
6. Agree to the terms and then click 'Change Site Address'.
7. After completing these steps, the changes will be applied and your new domain will become active.
