# How to Change Timezone in Jira

> To change your timezone in Jira, click your profile icon, select Manage account, and navigate to the Account preferences tab. Next, go to the Your time zone section, click the drop-down menu, and select your preferred time zone from the options.

## Steps

1. Click your profile icon located at the upper right side of your Jira dashboard.
2. Select 'Manage account'.
3. Go to the 'Account preferences' tab.
4. Go to the 'Your time zone' section, click the drop-down menu.
5. Select your preferred time zone in Jira from the options below.
6. A notification pops up confirming the action that your timezone is being updated.
