# Check Keyword Ranking in Google Search Console

> To check keyword ranking in Google Search Console, choose your website property, open Search results under the Performance section, view the list of queries, select a query, and check your website's average position in Search for that query.

## Steps

1. Choose the website property for which you want to check the ranking.
2. Select " Search results " from the " Performance " section in the sidebar.
3. Here you’ll find a list of queries (keywords) your website ranks for, in the Search.
4. Choose a query.
5. Here you’ll get the average position of your website in Search, for that query.
