# How to close a bug in jira

## Steps

1. Select Bugs from the left sidebar to view Bugs from your Customer service .
2. Select your Bug and click on it's status. Change the status to Mark as Done .
3. Provide resolution details. Like: “Done” or “won't do,” etc. Also, provide the Linked Issues parameter and specify the linked issue.
4. Provide Comments ( Respond to customer or Internal comment )
5. You will see the Status as Done .
