# Imap slack integration

> To integrate IMAP with Slack, click Create > Zap, select IMAP as the trigger app with the New Email event, and connect your IMAP account by entering your Host, Username, Password, and Port. Next, select Slack as the action app, choose Send channel message, connect your Slack account, and publish the Zap.

## Steps

1. Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar.
2. Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event.
3. Select IMAP from the listed apps.
4. Select the Trigger event as New Email .
5. Click on Account to connect your IMAP account.
6. Enter your Host, Username, Password, Port and hit Yes, Continue.
7. Now, select your Action event.
8. And search for Slack .
9. As for the Action , choose Send channel message.
10. Next, connect your Slack account if it's not connected.
11. Finally, Publish to establish the connection.
