# Livechat slack integration

> To integrate Slack with LiveChat, create a Zap and define the LiveChat New Chat trigger by connecting your account using your email and personal access token. Then, select Slack as the app, choose the Send channel message action, connect your Slack account, and publish the Zap to establish the connection.

## Steps

1. Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar.
2. Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event.
3. Select LiveChat from the listed apps.
4. Select the Trigger event as New Chat .
5. Click on Account to connect your LiveChat account.
6. Sign in to your LiveChat account in the pop-up with your Email and Personal Access Token.
7. Now, select your Action event.
8. And search for Slack .
9. As for the Action , choose Send channel message.
10. Next, connect your Slack account if it's not connected.
11. Finally, Publish to establish the connection.
