# How to Send ManyChat Events to Slack with Zapier

> To connect Manychat and Slack, create a new Zap, select Manychat as the trigger app with the Chat Opened event, and connect your account. Then, select Slack as the action app, choose the Send channel message action, connect your Slack account, and publish the Zap to establish the connection.

## Steps

1. Hit Create > Zap on the left sidebar.
2. Click on the Trigger to define the trigger event.
3. Select Manychat from the listed apps.
4. Select the Trigger event as Chat Opened .
5. Click on Account to connect your Manychat account.
6. Sign in to your Manychat account in the pop-up.
7. Now, select your Action event.
8. And search for Slack .
9. As for the Action , choose Send channel message.
10. Next, connect your Slack account if it's not connected.
11. Finally, Publish to establish the connection.
