# How to create dashboard in jira

> To create a dashboard in Jira, click the Dashboards dropdown, name the dashboard, add viewers and editors, and hit Save. Then, click Add gadget, select a gadget, and hit Add. Finally, change the layout or drag and drop gadgets to organize information.

## Steps

1. In the top navigation, click the Dashboards dropdown and select Create Dashboard.
2. Name your dashboard and add a description.
3. Add viewers and editors if needed and hit Save.
4. In the top-right, click on Add gadget .
5. Select from the gadgets on the right pane and hit Add .
6. The gadget is added to your dashboard.
7. Change the layout by selecting Change layout in the top-right
8. You can also drag and drop gadgets to organize information.
