# How to create a filter in jira

> To create a filter in Jira, navigate to your board or backlog and click on Filter. Select the desired Assignee and add any additional parameters such as Issue type or Labels. Finally, save the filter by entering a name to finish creation and enable sharing of the updated view.

## Steps

1. Go to your board or backlog and click on Filter .
2. Select the Assignee whose card you want to see in the filtered view.
3. You can also add additional parameter like Issue type , Labels, etc.
4. Hit Save filter.
5. Enter a name for your filter.
