# How to create fix version in jira

> To create a fix version in Jira, click the card, scroll down on the right to Fix versions, select create new version, name it, and save to view the success prompt.

## Steps

1. Click on the Jira card.
2. Scroll down on the right to find Fix versions .
3. Click on it and select the +create new version option.
4. Name your version and hit Save .
5. You will see a success prompt saying your Fix Version is created.
6. The fix version is now visible on your task.
