# How to create a team in jira

> To create a team in Jira, go to Teams in the top nav bar, select Create Team from the dropdown, choose a team name and add members, and then hit the Create a team button to finish.

## Steps

1. Go to the Teams in the top nav bar.
2. Select Create Team from the dropdown.
3. Choose a new Team Name and start adding team members.
4. Hit Create a team button once done.
5. Your team is now created, you can click on View team on the success prompt to view your team members.
