# How To Create A Template In Confluence From An Existing Page

## Steps

1. Go to the Confluence page that you want to turn into a template.
2. Click Edit , then select and copy all the content (Cmd/Ctrl + A, then Cmd/Ctrl + C).
3. Click "Templates" on the dashboard, then select "Manage templates".
4. Click "Create a new template" to start fresh with your own custom workflow template.
5. Paste the copied content into the template editor.
6. Click Save when you're done.
