# How to Create an Overlay for StreamYard

> To add an overlay to your live broadcast, navigate to the Media Assets panel inside StreamYard Studio, scroll down to the Overlay section, click Add Overlay to upload your image file, and then click the Show button to display it on your screen.

## Steps

1. Inside StreamYard Studio, head over to the right-side panel and click 'Media Assets'.
2. Scroll down to the Overlay section, then click 'Add Overlay'. Select and upload the image file you want to use.
3. Following that, click the 'Show' button next to the newly added overlay.
4. After completing these steps, the overlay will be created and added to your StreamYard screen display.
