# How to Cross Tabulate in SurveyMonkey

> To cross tabulate in SurveyMonkey, navigate to your survey, open the Analyze Results tab, and select Compare from the Rule menu. Choose Compare by Question and Answer, pick your question and answers, and click Apply to generate the table.

## Steps

1. Navigate to the survey you want to analyze and click on the 'Analyze Results'.
2. In your 'Analyze results' tab, go to the 'Rule' menu.
3. Select 'Compare'.
4. From the dropdown, choose 'Compare by Question and Answer'.
5. Click the drop-down arrow to choose a question.
6. Select the answers that you want to compare.
7. Click 'Apply'.
8. After selecting the questions, SurveyMonkey will automatically generate a cross-tabulation table.
