# How to Delete a Response in SurveyMonkey

> To remove a response in SurveyMonkey, open the survey via the ellipsis icon, navigate to Analyze Results, and go to Individual Responses. Click the trash can icon or use the arrow to select Delete, then confirm by clicking Delete response. Note that deleted responses cannot be recovered.

## Steps

1. Open the survey for which you want to delete the response by clicking the ellipsis icon.
2. Navigate to the ' Analyze Results' to view the collected responses.
3. Go to the 'Individual Responses' section.
4. Once you're on the response you'd like to remove, click the trash can icon.
5. You may also click the arrow.
6. After clicking the arrow, select 'Delete' next to the response.
7. Confirm the deletion by clicking 'Delete response'.
8. By following these steps, you can delete a response in SurveyMonkey. Once a response is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
