# How to Delete a Transaction in Xero

> To delete a transaction in Xero, navigate to Accounting, select Bank Accounts, and choose the correct account. Tick the checkbox next to the transaction, tap Remove and Redo, and click Yes to confirm your request.

## Steps

1. On Xero's main dashboard, go to the top menu bar and click 'Accounting'.
2. Choose 'Bank Accounts' from the list of options.
3. After that, select the specific bank account that contains the transaction you wish to delete.
4. Subsequently, find the transaction you want to delete and then tick the checkbox beside it.
5. Tap 'Remove & Redo' afterwards.
6. Click 'Yes' to confirm your request and proceed.
7. After completing these steps, the selected transaction will be deleted from your Xero account.
