# Salesforce - how to delete an opportunity

> To delete an opportunity, navigate to Opportunities in the menu bar, select the specific opportunity you wish to remove, click the Delete button on the top right side of the page, and confirm the action by clicking Delete on the pop-up dialog to successfully finish the removal process.

## Steps

1. Head over to Opportunities in the menu bar on the top.
2. You will find all your opportunities listed over here.
3. Click on the opportunity you want to delete.
4. Click on Delete button on the top right side of the page.
5. Click on the Delete button on the pop-up dialog.
6. You will get a prompt saying your Opportunity <name> was deleted.
