# How to Delete Contacts in Mailchimp

> To delete contacts in Mailchimp, open the Audience drop-down in the sidebar, click All contacts, and select Data management tool from the Manage contacts menu. Mark the checkboxes for the contacts to remove, click Permanently Delete, type PERMANENTLY DELETE in the pop-up modal, and click Confirm.
