# How to delete teams messages?

> To remove chat text in Microsoft Teams, go to the direct message containing the target content, click the three dots icon, and select Delete to clear the message from the conversation.

## Steps

1. Go to the DM from where you wish to delete the message
2. Click on the three dots icon
3. Select 'Delete' to remove the message from the chat
