# How To Edit Components In Webflow

> To edit components in Webflow, locate and select a component instance, then double-click to enter editing mode. Make your required changes, and finish by clicking outside the component or using the top-left back button.

## Steps

1. Locate an instance of your component.
2. Or select it by simply clicking on it.
3. Once selected, double click to enter editing mode. The component will be highlighted and the background dulled.
4. Make your changes.
5. When done editing, click outside of the component or use the back button from the top left.
6. And you have edited your component!
