1. On Xero's main dashboard, go to the top menu bar and click 'Accounting'.

2. Choose 'Products and Services' from the list of options.

3. After that, find the item you want to edit and click the 'More Options' button next to it.

4. Tap 'Edit' to proceed.

5. Find the 'Code' field, then change its default input. Type the new code you want to use.

6. Once done, review your revision and click 'Save'.

7. After completing these steps, the code of the selected Xero item will be edited based on your input.
