# How to Empty Dropbox

> To clear space in Dropbox, log in at www.dropbox.com and open the All files tab. Select the files or folders you want to delete, click the trash can icon or right-click to select Delete, and confirm. Finally, go to Deleted files in the left menu, select the items, and click Permanently delete.

## Steps

1. Visit www.dropbox.com and log in.
2. Open All files tab.
3. Select all the files or folders you want to delete.
4. Click the trash can icon or right-click and select Delete .
5. Confirm by clicking Delete.
6. Go to Deleted files in the left menu.
7. Select the files and click Permanently delete .
