# How to export backlog from jira to excel

> To export your backlog to Excel, go to Filters to view all issues, select the Backlog status, filter by project, click Export issues on the top right, select Export Excel CSV, view the List View, and open the downloaded file to edit as required.

## Steps

1. Go to Filters at the top and select View all issues .
2. Select the Status and check Backlog .
3. Filter by Project .
4. You will find Export issues on the top right of the page.
5. Select Export Excel CSV (all fields)
6. You will see the List View of your filtered issues.
7. You can open your downloaded file and edit as required.
